Timothy J. Mourer

Timothy J. Mourer, 76, of Dunkirk, died suddenly, Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Brooks Memorial Hospital. 

He was born in Dunkirk, May 13, 1948, son of the late Richard and Irene (Debeck) Mourer. 

A graduate of Dunkirk High School and served during Vietnam in the US Navy and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, One Bronze, Star Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and Honorable Discharge. 

A retired employee of the former Red Wing/ Carriage House. He enjoyed gardening and mowing lawns. 

Surviving are children Michelle (William) Cook of Fredonia, Sarah (Benjamin Nichols) Mourer of Forestville, grandchildren Nick (Melissa) Shefflied of Silver Creek, Allie Cook of Fredonia, Daniel Cook of Fredonia, great granddaughter Ember Sheffield, Brother of Suzanne Mourer, NC< Judy (Mike) Willoughby,DK, Mike (Wanda) Mourer, NC, several nieces and nephews. 

Preceded by his parents, his late Catherine (Clees),and brother Kenneth Mourer, 

Calling Hours on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 3-6 p.m. at R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc.
