Theresa Zambotti, 97, of Dunkirk, died Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born September 25, 1921, in Seminole, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Achille and Melania (Gugliemi) Marconi.
A retired employee of the former Cease’s Commissary in Dunkirk. She enjoyed cooking, baking, especially Christmas cookies, spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She also enjoyed reading, drawing, solving crossword puzzles, playing solitaire and games especially on her i-Pad.
Her memberships include Holy Trinity R.C. Church.
Surviving are her sons David (Marie) Zambotti, John (Rita) Zambotti both of Brocton, daughter Theresa Myers of Brandon, FL, grandchildren Sheri (Paul) Coleman, Brian (Ashley) Zambotti, John Zambotti, Shannon (Jesse) Kresek, Ashley Zambotti, Patrick (Ginger) Criss, Sarah (Devin) Thorn, Nicole Criss, 15 great grandchildren also surviving is a sister Mary Sorci and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death in addition to her parents is her husband Leno Zambotti whom died May 27, 1973, sisters Inez Martinelli and Elizabeth Brandon.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity R.C. Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
