Terry Lee Crist

Terry Lee Crist, 73, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY following a brief illness.

Born in Jamestown on October 19, 1945 and raised in Salamanca, Terry was the son of Richard “Dick” and Martha “Jane” Crist.

He spent the majority of his adult life in Dunkirk.Terry attended both Salamanca High School and Jamestown Community College. He had a life long passion for drum and bugle corps and participated in several throughout his life, including The Golden Senecas, The Black Knights, The Jamestown Gypsy Brass and The Dunkirk Patriots. He also loved Broadway musicals and kept a large collection of show tune records. In between high school and college Terry served in the United States Navy, training at The Great Lakes, IL Naval Training Center.Terry was also a 31-year member of The American Legion. He was a Past Commander of the Acquavia Post 1344 in Dunkirk.

He leaves his daughter, April Montanye (Crist); his son, David Myers; his granddaughter Elizabeth Myers; and many close friends.He was predeceased by his long time companion, Charlene Myers, and grandson, Shawn Myers.
