Steven L Newark

Steven L. Newark, 47, of Fredonia died unexpectedly at home early Sunday morning, July 3, 2016.
He was born in Florida, son of Floyd Ferguson and the late Susan (Nelson) Ferguson.

After having a major passion for athletics in high school, Steve went on to become the championship wrestler known as The Specialist before moving on to a 17 year career at Shultz Automotive, where he enriched the lives of both co-worker and customer alike.

Steve loved many things, from football to loud music, but nothing more than his family, especially his grandchildren, and making sure that everyone around him was, as he always maintained, on top of the world, loving life and living the dream. He will be sadly missed by everyone that knew him.

Surviving are two daughters, Jessica (Alex) Wright and Jennifer Newark, both of Silver Creek; and a son, Jeremy Newark of Brookesville, FL; as well as four grandchildren: Damien, Adrian, and Gage Wright, and Justin Stanfield Jr.Preceded in death in addition to his mother is a grandson, Asher Braden Wright.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday July 10 from 2-5 p.m. at Evangola State Park, Site A1.
