Sharon Mae Reading

Sharon Mae Reading, 70, of Westfield, died Tuesday morning March 10, 2020, at UPMC Hamot in Erie with her loving family by her side.

Born in Dunkirk, June 10, 1949, daughter of the late Anthony and Marie (Kohman) Galardo. Sharon was former owner of the Moore’s Pizza and Deli and Grace’s Beauty Shoppe in Brocton.

A devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sharon was a person to help anyone in need.

Surviving are children Jeannette (Ted) Henry of Jamestown, Christopher and Carl Moore both of Westfield, step children Dennis Moore, Marty (Tina) Moore, Jennifer Moore, Julie Moore, Kim (Todd) Graves, Kevin (Audrey) Reading, grandchildren Nolan, Lyric, step grandchildren Abigail, Maddox, Ty, Makenna, Addyson, Jacob, Jade, Kade, Kimberlynn, Patrick, Maegan, Bryen, sister of Anthony (Sheryl) Galardo Jr., Linda Burlingame, Kathleen (David) Taber, Carl Galardo, Allan Galardo, Paul (Brenda) Galardo, MaryJo (Michael) Kujawa, also surviving is her mother in law Dorothy Reading, sister in law Rebecca Eck, her K9 companion “Cooper” along with nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death in addition to her parents are an infant son; Timothy Fitzgerald, her husband Thomas Fitzgerald, Gerald Moore, Carl Reading, and brother Thomas Galardo.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E Doughty Street in Dunkirk, where funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
