Robert "Robbie" Cole

Robert “Robbie” W. Cole Jr., 63, of Fredonia, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021, at Brooks Memorial Hospital, following a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

He was born Feb. 23, 1958, in Dunkirk, son of the late Robert W. Cole Sr and Rita M. (Frasher) Cole.

Rob was am employee of First Student of Fredonia, where he worked for over 30 years in conjunction with the Agri-Business Child Development Center for over 20 years. He loved his work, especially working with the children, and it was very hard when he had to stop working. Rob enjoyed to drive down to the “Dock” and visit with all his friends there. Rob had many awesome friends and co-workers.

May God bless you all for the true kindness you’ve shown our brother, you are all awesome!Rob was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and also enjoyed to watch Womans Soccer and when he was of better health, he could be found hunting no matter the weather.

Surviving are his siblings: Sheryl (Cindy) Davis, Lorraine (Paul) Piazza and James (Stacey) Cole, aunt Florence Wilemski; along with nieces, nephews, and many cousins survive. In addition to his parents, he is preceded by paternal grand parents, Richard and Martha Cole and maternal grandmother, Josephine Frasher.

Relatives and friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 p.m., at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., where funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Webster Road Cemetery.
