Robert L. Pinkowski

Robert L. Pinkowski, 73, of Dunkirk, unexpectedly, Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at home.

Born November 10, 1947, in Dunkirk, he was the son of the late Leonard F. and Dorothy I. (Banach) Pinkowski.

He was a Dunkirk High Graduate Class of 1965, and graduate of Bryant and Straton Business College.Bob was a veteran of the US Army from 1969-72, and received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal.

He was a retired employee of the United States Postal Service in Dunkirk, having retired March 17, 2004.

His memberships include Life member at the Moniuszko Club and Life member at the first Ward Falcons Club.

Surviving are his children Karen (Art) Hinkley of Leon, Keith Pinkowski of Dunkirk, Karl Pinkowski of South Dayton, Kate Pinkowski of Forestville, 4 grandchildren Heather Hinkley, Abbigail Pinkowski, Benjamin and Kaleb Mescall, a brother James (Katherine) Pinkowski of Dunkirk, along with several nieces and nephews survive.In addition to his parents he is preceded by a sister Carol Habich.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
