Robert J. Zebracki, 77, of Dunkirk died Thursday morning, April 7, 2016 at Brooks Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
Born July 26, 1938 in Dunkirk, son of the late Stanley and Helen (Worczak) Zebracki.
A graduate of Cardinal Mindzenty High School, Class of 1956.
Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Retired from the former Roblin Steel in Dunkirk.
His memberships included Blessed Mary Angela R. C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig, 58-year member of Murray Hose Company #4, and he was also an avid reader.
Surviving are two sisters, Bernadette Zebracki and Kathleen (David) VanWey, both of Dunkirk; nephews David D. VanWey of Rochester, Timothy E. VanWey and Randy (Andrea) VanWey, both of Dunkirk; four great nieces, Emily VanWey of North Carolina, Elise VanWey of Eden, Abbey and Mia VanWey of Dunkirk.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
