Robert G. Grover, Jr., 49, of Cassadaga, passed away suddenly, Friday, February 14, 2025 at home. Born in Dunkirk on March 16, 1975, husband of Monica (Proctor) Grover and son of Debra (Noftsker) Grover and the late Robert G. Grover, Sr.
A lifelong resident of Cassadaga, Robert attended Cassadaga High School. Following high school, he went on to dedicate over 14 years as a Direct Support Professional for the Resource Center in Westfield.
He was known for his generous spirit, his infectious smile, and a warmth that made those around him feel valued and loved. Robert had a unique ability to connect with people; he would do anything for anyone, showcasing a healing presence that was deeply comforting.
Family was of utmost importance to Robert, and he found joy in cooking for his loved ones. He devoted time to his children, teaching them invaluable life skills and sharing in activities that created lasting memories.
In his leisure time, Robert enjoyed fishing and exploring the outdoors, along with the simple pleasures of going on rides and shopping. He was an avid sports fan, passionately supporting the Buffalo Sabres, Miami Dolphins, LA Lakers, LA Dodgers, and the WWE.
Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years Monica (Proctor) Grover, whom he married on July 31, 2001. Children Christopher, Alyssa and Elizabeth Grover; siblings Clarence (Diane) Grover, Mark (Beth) Grover, James (Dorothy) Grover, Eddie (Amber) Grover and Missy (Billy) Grover. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Robert is his father Robert G. Grover, Sr. and brother Roy Grover.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Open Door Baptist Church; 3576 Luce Road, Cassadaga, NY.
Interment in Cassadaga Cemetery. Arrangements by R. Mackowiak Funeral Home, Inc.; 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk, NY.
