Richard J. Jaffray

Richard J. Jaffray, 73, of Dunkirk, died Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA.

He was born in Dunkirk, October 12, 1944, son of the late Alfred and Genevieve (Crane) Jaffray.

He was a retired employee of CSX Railroad as a Welder and an avid sports fan of the Buffalo Bills and fantasy football and fantasy baseball.

Surviving is his wife Charmaine (Fuller) Jaffray of Dunkirk; sons, James, Charles and Joshua Jaffray, all of Dunkirk; three grandchildren, Jamison, Jaydon and Kaedence. Also surviving are brothers, James (Kris) Jaffray, Doug (Marylou) Jaffray, both of Dunkirk; sisters, Shiela Zwick of the Albany area, Maureen (John) Dezemo of Buffalo; along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death in addition to his parents is a son, David Jaffray.No prior visitation will be observed. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
