Michael J. Krupinski Jr., 73, of Dunkirk, died unexpectedly Monday May 9, 2016 at home.
He was born in Dunkirk, December 30, 1942, son of the late Michael J. and Helen (Kolassa) Krupinski Sr.
A veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict, he served with the U.S. Marines during that time.
Mike is retired from ECR (Dunkirk Radiator) after 31 years, retiring in 2002.
His memberships include Dom Polski Club, Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club, American Legion Post 62 and Moniuszko Club.
Mike enjoyed music and played bass in several bands, including the Joey Allen Movement, and Kristy's Band. He also was an avid sportsman that enjoyed hunting and was a past bowler and a gun enthusiast.
Surviving is his son Michael J. Krupinski of Kenmore, grandsons Jalon Krupinski of Kenmore and Javion Krupinski of Batavia along with a niece Dani Lynn Krupinski and nephew.
Preceded in death in addition to his parents are a son Michael and brothers Daniel and Edward Krupinski.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street, in Dunkirk today from 4-7 PM and Christian burial services to follow at 7 PM. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
