Maximus Norman Schnur-Gallivan, 7, passed away unexpectedly on Friday June 10, 2022, at UPMC Chautauqua, surrounded by his parents.
Max was born on May 18, 2015, in Dunkirk N.Y., to parents Hannah Schnur and Dennis Gallivan.
Max was known for his infectious smile and endless fist bumps. He has touched the lives of so many in his short time here. He enjoyed playing with all his cousins, dogs, cats, chickens and ducks.
Max had developed a love for camping, fishing, playing his games, bowling and watching movies.
He enjoyed playing with his wipes, watching for airplanes and swimming. Through all the hardships and illness, he always had a smile on his face and would find a way to make everyone smile or laugh
Max is survived by his parents Hannah Schnur of Dunkirk, and Dennis (Sara) Gallivan of Ellington; his brothers: Jaxx and Westland of Dunkirk; his sister, Nora of Ellington.
His maternal grandparents Kenneth (Joan) Schnur of Dunkirk; paternal grandparents, Jeffrey (Laurie) Gallivan of Silver Creek and Brad (Traci) Spencer of Ellington. His aunts and uncles: Jacob and Kaycee Schnur, Marikate (Bryan) Calimeri, Jenna (Zachery) Britton, Nicholas and Christopher Gallivan.
