Marcia M. Nickerson, 79, of Brocton, passed away
Friday afternoon, August 18, 2023 at home.
She was born February 10, 1944, in Washington,
D.C., daughter of the late Michael and Theresa
(Kaleta) Miga.
Marcia had been co-owner with her late husband
of Nickerson's Used Cars in Brocton.
A beautiful soul with a big heart that was devoted
to her loving family that will be greatly missed by
all.
She enjoyed her Rose garden, camping, traveling,
collecting vintage jewelry, yard sales, going to the
casino and loved to bake and cook for all and had
treated everyone like family.
Surviving are her children Shelly (David) Vandermast
of Angola, Kathryn (Howard) Lawrence of Naponoch,
NY, John P. (Dawn) Nickerson Sr. of Brocton, Clifford
(Christine) Nickerson Jr of Brocton, grandchildren
Gregory (Hilary) Snyder, Nicole Nickerson, Clifford
Nickerson III, John P. Nickerson Jr., Mark Nickerson,
Lisa Lawrence, Jason Lawrence, Howard (Sandy)
Lawrence Jr., Amanda (Nathan) Rogers, great
grandchildren Aubrey, Mathew, Jenna Snyder, Hazel
Lawrence, Annabell Flynn, Zofia
Lawrence, Emily Rogers, Blaine Rogers, Viktoria
Vandermast, Isaac, Elliott. Sisters Linda (Thomas)
Logan, Donna (Allen) Palmatier, brothers Jerry (Darlene)
Miga, John ( Audrey) Miga, nieces and nephews
also survive and best friend Donna Williams.
Preceded by parents husband Clifford N. Nickerson of
54 years who died November 17-2017, infant son
Mark, brothers Michael, James Miga, infant sister
Caroline Miga.
Relatives and friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and
6-8 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56
E. Doughty Street, where funeral services will be held
Wednesday morning at 10 AM/ Interment will be in
Portland Evergreen Cemetery.
