Mabel L. Spayer

Mabel L. Spayer, 92, of Cassadaga, died, Wednesday,February 11,2017. She was born March 25, 1924, in Pomfret, daughter of the late Leonard and Marjorie (Colson) Wilkins. Mabel was a home care provider for many years. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time in her garden and with antiques. Surviving is her son Joseph (Janice) Spayer of Cassadaga, grandchildren Daniel Wysocki, Samantha Wysocki, Jill (Gregory Drab) Spayer, Joseph (Tara Hayes) Spayer all of Cassadaga, great-grandchildren, Bodhi Wysocki, Lila Drab, Henry Drab, a sister Dora Colton of Cassadaga, along with several nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death in addition to her parents is her husband Joseph âSargeã Spayer who died April 12, 2004, son James Spayer who died January 20, 1994, daughter Jo Ann Wysocki who died March 26, 2009, and brothers Roy Wilkins and Scott Wilkins. Private funeral services were held with the Rev Ray Donohue officiating, with interment in Laona Cemetery
