Lucille M. Bartkowski, 85, of Dunkirk, passed away, Thursday,
August 10, 2023 at Brooks Memorial Hospital with her family at her side.
Born March 11, 1938 in Dunkirk, daughter of the late Alexander
and Frances (Finello) Biscaro.
A retired employee of the former Paper Factory in Fredonia, Lucille
had also worked at Dunkirk Public Schools, Dr. Foley's office and
McClenathan's Office Supply.
Lucille was a longtime member of the Blessed Mary Angela Church
of St. Hyacinth, Mother's club and the Rosary Society.
She volunteered for many functions at the parish and enjoyed to dance,
go on walks and loved listening to music.
Surviving is her husband of over 64 years, Ronald M. Bartkowski
whom she married August 30, 1958. A loving mother to daughters Deborah Sefcheck
of Dunkirk, Michelle (Michael) Michalski of Freeport, Florida, and Mary (Melissa) Bartkowski
of Fredonia. Grandchildren include Merry (Allen Johnson) Michalski and
Megan (Bryan Wazbinski) Michalski. Also surviving is her
sister Mary Notaro of Fredonia along with many nieces and nephews.
Preceded by her parents, a brother Joseph Biscaro, sisters Geraldine
LaGrasso, Antoinette Crise, Theresa Ark, and Clara Biscaro.
There will be no visitation and a private funeral service held will be at the
convenience of the family.
