Kevin M. Grupa, 68, of Dunkirk, passed away, Friday November
25, 2023, at home Unexpectedly.
Born in Dunkirk June 20, 1955, son of the late Michael D. and
Joan B. (Gaszynski) Grupa.
A graduate of Dunkirk High School class of 1973 and furthered
his education at SUNY Fredonia and continued on to receive
a bachelors from Columbia University in Engineering.
Kevin then joined the US Air Force and attained a rank of Captain,
also having served during the Gulf war as a strategist.
An avid fan of the Buffalo Bills, Kevin also enjoyed playing golf,
chess, bridge, is a 12 time sanctioned 300 game bowler, and also
liked to read and listen to rock music.
Surviving are a brother Mark (Mary Field) Grupa of Dunkirk, sister
Julie (James) Symack of Cheektowaga, nephew Matthew (Milica)
Grupa of IN, a niece Danielle (Brian Hayes) Dean of Westfield,
Uncle Ralph (Linda) Gaszynski of Fredonia, also several cousins
survive.
Preceded in addition to his parents is a sister Michelle Dean.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be announced.
