Jerry M. Sipp

Jerry M Sipp, 77, of Fredonia, NY passed away Friday June 21, 2019 following a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 8, 1942 in Blue Field, WV, son of the lateBeatrice (Garris) LaCore and the late George Sipp.

Jerry worked many years in construction followed by more than a decade of service to the NYS Thruway Authority, Maintenance Division. Following his retirement, he enjoyed daily coffee visits with friends and family, working in his garage, maintaining his property, and helping others.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Ruth (Love) Sipp. Stepdaughters Stefanie (Derrick) Burns of Brocton, NY and Stacey Stein of Fredonia, NY, and Stepson Scott Stein of Brocton, NY. Seven grandchildren; Brandon, Derrick Jr, Damien, Micaya, Alyssa, Jackson, Loretta; one great grandson, Grayson. Also survived by niece, Delorse (Bart) Barthelmas of Michigan and nephew Garland (Maria) Hoops of West Virginia as well as many other nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Barbara and Katherine, and his daughter Margaret.

Per Jerry’s wishes, there will be no funeral services. A Celebration of Life Picnic for family and friends will be Sunday, July 7th, 2 – 6 p.m. at Jerry and Ruth’s home.
