Jennifer Dawn Schmidt

She was born on November 18, 1968, the daughter of Marylou Dieteman and James Schmidt.

Jennifer graduated from West Seneca High School in 1986. Shortly after graduation, she joined the Air Force and worked as security police.

Much of her military time was spent in Great Falls, Montana in which Jennifer had hoped to return. Upon returning home, Jennifer attended The University of Fredonia where she studied Geology.

She then went on to work for Stericycle and later, Buffalo Speech and Hearing.

Jennifer was very proud of her time in the Air Force. She took every opportunity she had to talk about what she had done while serving for the United States.

Jennifer also had a deep love for animals, especially cats. There was never a time without a cat or cats in her life. She was an avid Bills fan and never missed a game.

Jennifer is survived by her parents, Marylou Dieteman and James Schmidt, and her three siblings, Jeff (Wanda) Cushman, Kirk (Suzanne) Schmidt, and Garth Schmidt.

She is also survived by her cousins: Colleen Schmidt, Kevin Schmidt, Lee Schmidt, and Steven Schmidt.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
