Jeanenne H. Gizowski, 67, of Dunkirk, passed away Wednesday

evening, April 24, 2024, at Brooks Memorial Hospital.

Born September 25, 1956, in Dunkirk, daughter of the late Harvey

and Jeanenne (Gadewoltz) Bloss.

A retired employee of Brooks Memorial Hospital.

Jeanie could be well known and seen on one of her walks

about the city and was always up for a conversation with anyone

willing to lend an ear. A fun loving person she enjoyed dancing, to go

shopping and to get together with family and friends.

Surviving are her sisters Cindy (John) Hunt of Dunkirk, Penny (Tim)

Pilarski of Fredonia, Amy (Louie) DiPietro of Dunkirk, Tracy Briggs

of Dunkirk, Toni Rae (Jeffrey) Benedict of Oneida, April Hill of Dunkirk,

brother Nicholas (Julianne) DiLorenzo and brother in law Don Winder

of Dunkirk. several nieces and nephews also survive.

Preceded in addition to her parents are her husband David J. Gizowski

who died July 13, 2020, step father Anthony DiLorenzo,

sisters Kathleen (late Jim) Quick, Robin Winder.
