Jane K. Szukala

Jane K. (Schrantz) Szukala, 88, died Thursday October 13, at the Bluegrass Assisted Living in Kentucky.She was born in Dunkirk, May 24, 1928 daughter of the late Michael & Katherine Cudzilo.A retired employee of the Dunkirk  Fredonia Telephone Company.
Her memberships include Blessed Mary Angela R. C. Parish, the parish Rosary Society & worked on various committees at church.She is survived by three sisterinlaws  Evelyn Cudzilo, Jane Moch, & Margaret Borowczyk, Three step children James (Sally) Szukala, Michael (Julie) Szukala & Dr. Sharon (Dr. Justin) Mitchel, seven step grandchildren, many nieces & nephews & great nieces & great nephews.Preceeded in death in addition to her parents are her husbands James Schrantz, Dr. Raymond Szukala, sisters Josephine Pryll & Frances Ryczko, brothers Edmund & Michael Cudzilo.Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street in Dunkirk on Friday October 28. From 5 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday morning October 29 at 10:00 AM in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Private burial will be in St. Hedwig's Cemetery.
