Irene Kuziora

Irene Kuziora, 91, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord on September 27, 2019.

She was born November 28, 1927, daughter of the late Simon and Anna (Mroczka) Zebrasky, and was a life-long resident of Dunkirk, New York.

Irene was a past employee of Brooks Hospital.

She was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed gardening, observing wildlife in her backyard, and the company of her rescued dog, Toby.

Survived by her husband Casimir of 67 years, her son Michael (Mary Lilly) Kuziora of Bethesda, MD., daughter Kristine (Paul) Vanek of Mentor, Ohio, seven grandchildren, Christian Lamoreaux, Megan Vanek, Erin Vanek, Elizabeth Vanek, Michael C. Kuziora, Sarah Kuziora, and 3 great-grandchildren, Anthony Lamoreaux, Christian Lamoreaux and Elizabeth Lamoreaux.Preceded in death in addition to her parents is her daughter Karen (the late Lee) Lamoreaux and sister Bernadette Campbell.No visitation will be observed.

Relatives and friends are welcome to a Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, October 5, at 10 a.m. at Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hyacinth. The family will welcome guests from 9 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make donations in her memory to the Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St, Dunkirk, NY 14048.
