Henry A. Walas, beloved father of Lorraine (David) Rusch of Ocala, FL; Mary Ann (James) Sandoro of Buffalo, NY; Natalie (Daniel) Mulkin of Summerfield, FL; James (Lynn) Walas of New Hartford, NY; Sandra (Kevin) Budniewski of Fredonia, NY. Grandfather of Barbara (Kevin) Kane; Susan Rusch; Tamara (Thomas) Baker; Julie Walas; Brian (Sheralyn) Walas; Meredith Budniewski; and Lauren Budniewski. Great grandchildren: Ashley (Tyler) Dotson; Ryan Kane, Jackson Baker; Carlie Baker; great grandson, Carson Walas; great granddaughter Mila E. Walas and a great great granddaughter soonto arrive. Nieces and nephews survive. Preceded in death by his parents the late John and Mary (Muczynski) Walas, his wife Gertrude (Marczak) Walas, brothers: Joseph (Victoria), John (Delores) Frank (Irene), & Michael Wallace. Sisters: Anna (Tony) White, Florence Walas, Caroline (Casimir) Skrzyniarz, Helen (Hugh) Briggs, & Margaret (Clement) Polasik.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call Today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street, Dunkirk. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hyacinth. Interment will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.
