Gary P Kaus

Gary P. Kaus, 63, of Cassadaga, passed away Dec. 12, 202,1in his home.

Gary was born April 5, 1958, in Dunkirk, to the late Frank and Genevieve (Kaleta) Kaus.

Gary was a correctional officer for 25 years, and has been retired for the past seven years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, excellent handyman, and a farming hobbyist. Those who knew Gary would describe him as a fun loving goofball, with a kind heart. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and all his family dearly.

Gary Kaus is survived by his wife of 12 years, Sandy (Smith) Kaus; four children: Zachary (Sarah) of West Seneca, Amy (Graham) Williams of Williamsville, Mike (Sarah) Smith of Forestville, and Sarah (Chris) Johnson of Hilton Head, S.C.; as well as seven grandchildren: Madison Kaus, Caleb Kaus, Ivy Williams, Roman Williams, Landon Smith, Lexi Smith and Tyra Sundquist. He is further survived by five siblings: Robert (Pat), David, Cynthia (Carlos) Perez, Terry (Karen) and Daniel (late Kathy); as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
