Florence J. Wilemski

Florence J. Wilemski, 98, of Dunkirk, passed away, Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021, at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born in Dunkirk, Feb, 16, 1923, daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Setera) Lach.

A past employee of the former Van Raalte Corporation in Dunkirk. A member of Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hedwig.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews to include Joseph (Marie) Skubis, Lori Piazza (Paul), friends: Bertha (Marshall) Fitzgerald, Brenda (Nor-man) Nalepa. Preceded in death in addition to her parents are her husband, Leonard Wilemski, who died Jan. 2, 1998; sisters: Josephine Frasher, Esther Lach and Eleanor Rak, Agnes Seybold and Mary Mosher; brothers: John Selmack, Ed Lach and Anthony Lack.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call Sunday from 2-4p.m., at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E. Dought St., Dunkirk, where Christian Burial Services will be held following at 4 p.m. Interment will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.

Florence requested memorials in lieu of flowers be made to the Lake Shore Humane Society, 431 E. Chestnut St, Dunkirk.
