Dunkirk

 

Elizabeth A. Kozlowski, 88, of Dunkirk, passed away Friday evening
June 23, 2023, at home with her loving family at her side.
She was born June 17, 1935, in Dunkirk, daughter of the late 
Alexander and Elizabeth (Kinn) Bartholomew.
A retired employee of the former Brooks Drugs/West Drug Store
where she work as a Pharmacy Assistant and prior to that she 
ran the Gift Shop at the former McClenathan's Gift Shop and 
Office Supply.
A member of the Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of 
St. Hyacinth.
Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and time out
with friends at the Rainbow Inn. A neighborhood favorite that would 
listen to everyone who stopped by and wanted to talk and share 
stories. She also liked rides around the city along with going thru 
Point Gratiot.
Surviving is her husband of 67 Years Robert P. Kozlowski whom 
she married May 5, 1956, their children Michelle (Duke) Congdon
Sharon (Dennis) Straight, Elizabeth (Jim Hanlon) Kozlowski,
all of Dunkirk, Michael Kozlowski of NC., daughter in law Lauren
Kozlowski and son in law Raymond Pauszek II both of Dunkirk, 
9 grandchildren Robert (Lindsey) Kozlowski, Randall (Lauren) 
Kozlowski, Amanda (Mike) Goebel, Kevin (Megan) Congdon, 
James (Shelby) Congdon, Nick (Maddie) Congdon, Ray Pauszek III,
Matthew (Caitlin) Pauszek, Tim (Miranda) Pauszek, 14 Great 
grandchildren, sister Joann (Doug) Stock. Nieces, nephews, great
nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death in addition to her parents are sons Robert J. 
Kozlowski, James Kozlowski and daughter Cheryl Pauszek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at10 AM in 
Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth. 
Interment will be in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers Memorial can be made to Roswell Park
Cancer Institute or Hospice of Chautauqua County.
