Dorothy T. Wystup Dorothy T. Wystup, 92, of Dunkirk, died Monday, April17,2017. She was born in Dunkirk June 19, 1924, daughter of the late William and Laura (Nowinski) Trudnowski. Dorothy was a retired employee of Ralston Purina, serving as the executive secretary to the plant manager; and in the past she was a nurseás aide during WWII. She had worked at Brooks Memorial Hospital and at the former ALCOA SteelProducts. For many years Dorothy went to the Chautauqua County Home to visit the many residents without family members. Her memberships included Blessed Mary Angela
R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig and the Parish Rosary Society. A devout Catholic,she spent much of her time at the church, RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program), and volunteering at Brooks MemorialHospital. Surviving are her adopted children that were her life, Kevin (Cindy) Wystup of Fredonia, Kathleen (Dale) Dillenburg of Forestville and Richard Wystup of Wellsville; grandchildren Jennifer Wystup Gettings, Stacy Wystup, Christopher (Lauren Moss) Wystup, Desiree Chambliss, Tierra Dillenburg,Richard Wystup and Brittany Wystup; greatgrandchildren Stephon Carmona, Damari Chambliss, Tracyana Griggs and Tyleah Bell; along with nieces and nephews. Preceded in death, in addition to her parents,by her husband, Gerald V. Wystup, who died March 1988; brother William Trudnowski; and sister Virginia (Carl) Lis. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Interment will be in St. Hedwigás Cemetery.
