Diane G. Dziduch, 82, of Dunkirk died Friday morning, Feb. 26, 2016, at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Raymond and Theresa (Mendlikowski) Gregory.
Diane was devoted to her family and faith and was an incredibly giving and caring woman. She was a homemaker, bookkeeper for Andrew Dziduch Construction Company, part owner of Add Lumber Company and also, early in her life, she worked at The Safe Store.
Her many talents included oil painting, playing piano, crocheting and sewing. In addition to spending time with her family she also enjoyed traveling.
Her memberships include St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister, her painting club and card club with her longtime girlfriends for over 60 years.
Surviving is her husband of 63 years Andrew G. Dziduch, whom she married May 7, 1952; their seven children, Linda (Leonard) Rao of Syracuse, Fred (Zoraida) Dziduch, Jerry (Cheryl) Dziduch, both of Dunkirk, Laura (Rick) Bel-lando of Fredonia, Kenneth (Karen Gentner) Dziduch of Fairview, TX, Lisa (Rick) Crandall of Dunkirk, Louise (Christopher) Lanski of Fredonia; grandchildren: Thomas Rao, Christina (Brett Myles) Rao and Len Rao, Dan (Staci) Dziduch, Shannon (Chris) Dante, Cory (Aleah) Dziduch, Kellie Dziduch, Jillian and Janelle Bremer, Zachary and Mackenzie Crandall, Lydia and Claire Lanski.
Great-grandchildren Josie and Jaxson Myles, Dominik Dziduch, Nicholas Dante, along with her extended family, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters Dolores Gregory and Donna Rae Sweet.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 East Doughty Street, in Dunkirk on Monday from 1-3 and 6-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church, and entombment at Assumption Mausoleum in St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church or Northern Chautauqua Catholic School, 328 Washington Ave., Dunkirk, NY 14048.
