Constance Rose Grupa, 98, of Northville, Michigan, former Dunkirk resident at 16 Leming St., died Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Born in Dunkirk October 12, 1916, daughter of the late Anthony and Agnes (Gawronski) Kozlowski. Graduate of St. Hyacinth's School. An employee of the former Van Raalte Co. and Chautauqua County Home & Infirmary. Survived by son James (Barbara Harris) of Canton, MI; grandsons, Charles M. Dietzen Jr. (Susan) of Elgin, OK, Donald Grupa (Kathleen) of Franklin, TN, Stephen Grupa of Garden City, MI; granddaughter, Tiffany Bozyk (Keith) of Adrian, MI; 10 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, John J. Grupa, who died October 13, 1988, a son Donald Grupa, and siblings, Mary Cobel, Elizabeth Strozewski, Monica Lanski, Rita Miller, Eleanor Imbierowski, and infant sister Janeane Kozlowski; brothers, Tom Kozlowski, Joseph Kane and Ed Kozlowski. Relatives and friends are welcome to call at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home Inc., 56 E. Doughty St. in Dunkirk, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock in Blessed Mary Angela Parish Church of St. Hyacinth.
