Carol A. Habich

Carol A. Habich, 60, of Dunkirk died Thursday January 15, 2015 at Brooks Memorial Hospital following a brave battle with cancer. She was born on March 21, 1954 in Dunkirk, daughter of Dorothy (Banach) Pinkowski and the late Leonard Pinkowski. A former employee of Tina's Hallmark Store in Dunkirk and had also worked at the Valu Home Center, Jo Ann Fabrics and sold Gibson Greeting Cards. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R. C. Church. Carol was a strong woman in good spirits, always with a smile on her face and a recognizable laugh. She enjoyed crafting and sew-ing. Surviving in addition to her mother, are her children, Jason Habich and Sara Habich, both of Dun-kirk; brothers, Robert Pinkowski and James (Katherine) Pinkowski, both of Dunkirk, along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 24, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R. C. Church at 10 a.m. Memorials can be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, Elm & Carlton Streets, Buffalo, NY 14263, Attn: Head and Neck Research. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R. C.
