Barbara A. Spekczynski

Barbara A. Spekczynski, 71, of Dunkirk, died Friday, November 3, 2017 at home in Angola. She was born in Dunkirk, June 20, 1946, daughter of the late Peter and Stella (Matecki) Michalak.

A retired employee of the Dollar Store in the D & F Plaza in Dunkirk.Her memberships include Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hyacinth and parish choir.

Surviving are her children Adam (Misty) Spekczynski of North Carolina, Stephanie Spekczynski of Fredonia, Amanda (Jacob) Dye of New Jersey, Anthony Spekczynski III of Angola, grandchildren Kyle Schrantz, Zachary, Tyler, Emily, Victor Spekczynski, Lorelai Dye, along with several nieces and nephews also survivine. Preceded in death in addition to her parents are her husband Anthony Spekczynski Jr., a sister Alice Fischer and brothers Richard and Ronald Michalak..

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o’clock in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hyacinth. Private burial will be in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.
