Arlene Budniewski

Arlene Budniewski, 86, of Dunkirk, N.Y., passed away on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, at the Chautauqua County Home.

She was born in Dunkirk, daughter of the late Raymond and Frances (Zatorski) Smith.

A devout Christian, she was a 50-year member of Family Church of Fredonia, N.Y. Arlene would joyfully share her faith with every person she interacted with. If you ever had a conversation with her you likely left with a smile on your face.

The matriarch of her family, she is survived by two daughters: Wendy (Mark) Farmer of Silver Creek, N.Y., and Kathy Pulci of Fredonia, N.Y.; as well as seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved and supported. A loving wife of 63-years she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Budniewski; a son, Lawrence Budniewski; and son-in-law, Stephen Pulci.

A private family service will be held.
