Annabelle C. Reilly, 88, of Dunkirk, died Friday morning, November 16, 2018 suddenly, at home.
She was born in Dunkirk, December 11, 1929, daughter of the late Stanley and Belle (Wincenciak) Cycle.
A graduate of Buffalo General Hospital School of Nursing, with graduate courses at SUNY Fredonia, DeYouville College. Annabelle retired from Brooks Memorial Hospital after 40 years, she also served as a Certified Diabetic Educator, a PT Teacher and had a number of programs breast and pelvic exams for the Cancer Society, Diabetic Classes, Blood Pressure Classes for area organizations and churches, cardiac, emphysema and arthritis programs, no smoking classes, conducted colostomy and urostomy classes, seniors for nurses in Chautauqua County, and had a health test with Diabetic testing and other programs.
Her memberships include Blessed Mary Angela Parish, parish Rosary Society, and Bingo worker, Buffalo General Hospital Alumni Association, served on the Board of Directors for the American Cancer Society, RSVP Volunteer, Red Cross Volunteer, Kosciuszko Club.
Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Donald F. Reilly of Dunkirk, sons Patrick (Cathleen) Reilly of Rochester, Donald (Janine) Reilly of Orlando, FL, Grandsons Kevin (Kayla) Reilly, Michael Reilly, Steven Reilly, William Reilly, Patrick Reilly, great-grandson Beckham, along with many nieces and nephews survive.
Relatives and friends are welcome to call today at Mackowiak Funeral Home 56 E. Doughty Street, Dunkirk from 3-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10 a.m. in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish Church of St. Hedwig. Entombment will be in Assumption Mausoleum in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
